The web-based email implementation (link at the left) is quite slow, sorry about that, but it does mostly work. A bandwidth upgrade is on the horizon. If your access is from a web-only Internet-cafe somewhere, it should be workable. There is currently no SSL support in it, so be aware that your password is being sent in the clear. It's also available through the alias http://www.chud.net/critter/ since it's been reported that a company firewall policy has filtered out the string "webmail" for a user on at least one occasion.
