Without much work spent formatting, old posts are viewable on the off-chance that someone wants to go back to something. Sorry, comments and typed posts (like this one) are probably gone unless someone really wants something. Well, they’re not gone, just too much work to retrieve.
Many posts took more than one page; they are separate images, which is why you see things like “post2a” and “post2b”. Most of them are not dated on the image itself, so the date information is gone too, but in general I don’t think that’s too important.
